Any pad, reusable or not, if not changed frequently can hold in moisture & produce bad smells or mold. Change your pads frequently or whenever wet. The terrycloth (white towel-look) side is to be placed against the breast. Wash pads on a regular or gentle cycle with gentle detergent. NO liquid fabric softeners or dryer sheets should be used as these will not allow absorption. Dry your pads on regular heat in the dryer until they are COMPLETELY DRY.
